It is important to note that XPEL FUSION PLUS is the only approved ceramic coating for use over XPEL paint protection film. While XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS paint protection film comes pre-coated from the factory, it is common practice to enhance the coating by applying FUSION PLUS on top, resulting in a deeper and more robust protection. Moreover, rejuvenating older paint protection film by decontaminating it and re-coating with FUSION PLUS is a reliable method to extend its lifespan, restore ease of cleaning, and enhance its overall performance.
